I like to shoot in any weather-
Anything from local sporting events to the crazies willing to take action for footage and stills. Most of my gear goes where ever I go- keeping packs and lenses for the rare events that occur. Best of the best is rodeo in the summer, snowboarding and sledding in the winter.
Rodeo is the life-
I rode bulls professionally for 9 years consecutively, can’t say I was great. But the rush was worth it! My only regret is not getting more footage during those years. Granted, photo/video equipment is constantly getting better by the year in leaps and bounds, but holding on to those memories with more quality footage and imagery would have been optimal.
Got my start in the Navy as a photographer and kept upping the bar as the years have gone by-
I was honorably discharged from the Navy as a photog- had a blast, but it was time to go on to bigger and better things.
From NFR to PBR, rodeo has by far the best action available for the best in digital shooting. The best part is that you don’t have to wait for the action, it is on going and constant in these events.
Getting to have the opportunity to shoot these events has been a phenomenal experience. These shoots have a lot of red tape to get through, both shooting and publishing, however, the events were mind blowing!
With the latest and greatest in digital media creation, no project is too big or two small. From sporting events, to weddings, to scenic footage- to post production; quality is what stands out.
